Contractions During Pregnancy
A contraction is a shortened form of two words, often a pronoun and a verb (I + am = I’m) or a verb and the phrase not (is + not = isn’t), where an apostrophe takes the place of the missing letter or letters.
Braxton Hicks contractions are current in all pregnancies. However, each girl’s expertise is different. Most ladies grow to be conscious of Braxton Hicks contractions in the third trimester, and a few girls are aware of them as early as the second trimester. Sometimes Braxton Hick contractions occurring near the tip of the third trimester of pregnancy are mistaken because the onset of true labor. It isn’t uncommon, especially in a primary being pregnant, for a girl to assume she is in labor only to be informed it’s Braxton Hicks contractions and not true labor.
